Considerable Achievement Given the Number of Influential Articles Published in AIDS Care

Woodland Hills, CA—June 18, 2007—Health Benchmarks®, Inc. (HBI) published a study of more than 2,100 patients diagnosed with HIV who were newly started on a fixed dose combination drug versus its components taken as separate pills. Findings from the study demonstrated that medication adherence was three times greater among patients on the combined drug regimen as compared to separate pills, suggesting that simpler regimens could lead to improved patient health outcomes.

“Congratulations on a recent achievement of your article "Adherence to combined Lamivudine+Zidovudine versus individual components: A community-based retrospective medicaid claims analysis (17,8)” said Joanne Mueller, AIDS Care Editorial Assistant.  “Many thanks for your excellent contribution to AIDS Care and congratulations once again.  We wish you every future success and greatly look forward to receiving new articles from you in the near future.”
