The research, conducted internally by Health Benchmark staff led by Dr. Yingxu Zhao, demonstrated an improved R-square (0.88) compared to the traditional ETG-mean approach (0.633) by using advanced regression-based techniques, properly grouping, and more accurately filtering data used in economic profiling of physicians.
